Ghost sofas are designed by Paola Navone, created by commission for the Italian designer furniture label Gervasoni. The sofas are made from a multilayer, robust wooden frame, differentiated density polyurethane foam upholstery and a loose textile cover, which conveniently can be easily removed for cleaning. Cushions are also included with each order.
The covers – intentionally abundant, are removable and they can be washed at 30°c. The loose cushions are made from dacron and down. The sewing is made with a matching tone thread according to the choice of our designer.
All upholstered furniture sold for use in the UK must satisfy the UK fire & safety regulations. In accordance to these guidelines, any Ghost sofas, armchairs and beds must be made with a supplementary fire retardant treatment + with Gervasoni’s own fire retardant fabric interliner in between the sofa and the linen cover.
Ghost sofas are built as one piece and cannot be taken apart for access.
